YERP ELIGIBILITY & APPLICATION

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

In order to be eligible for the Youth Employment Readiness Program, you must meet these qualifications required by the Government of Canada:

  • Be between 15-30 (Inclusive).

  • A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada and according to relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations

  • Be able to attend daily online and in person employment skills training sessions in Oshawa.

Due to Covid-19, in class sessions will be broken up into 2 cohorts to abide by social distancing standards.

Are you able to attend online and in person sessions in Oshawa 5 days a week? (Monday-Friday) *
Do you have access to a computer to use during online sessions? (It's okay you don't). *
